Day - 01 – Guest will be received by our official at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) & Transfer t Kalimpong – He will assist you for the forwarding journey to Kalimpong – One can visit Great International Tashi Gomang Stupa at Salugara – Next 100 Kilometers, 2 ½ - 3 hours - Check in Hotel at Kalimpong – It is a quieter destination - Situated on the foothills of the Himalayas at an elevation of 1243 meters / 4078 feet, it is a Hill Station buzzing with fun, frolic and offers spectacular views – Check into Hotel - Over night stay at Kalimpong – Evening free to stroll around Kalimpong bazaar for shopping of handicrafts and relics - Over night stay at Hotel in Kalimpong

 

Day - 02 – Transfer to Gangtok & Rumtek Monastery Sightseeing -  Early morning have breakfast and drive to Gangtok - (100 kilometers 3 ½ - 4 hours) – On the way sightseeing at Dello – Forwarding journey to Gangtok – Gangtok is a perfect destination for tourist in search of enchantment, tranquility, trekking or any other adventure - Land of monastery, mystic rituals / festivals at an elevation of 1,437 meters / 4,715 feet is the most often visited spot of India for its rare Orchids and Butterflies - Check into Hotel - Sight Seeing to Rumtek Monastery (Optional)- Evening free to stroll to M.G. Marg or Local Market - It is advisable to have food in any of the restaurant in M G Road or vicinity - Over night stay at hotel in Gangtok

 

Day - 03 - Gangtok Sightseeing - Start the day with Rumtek Monastery - Rumtek is one of the largest in Sikkim - Rumtek was at the center of the Karmapa controversy with a lengthy battle being played out in the Indian courts -Home to the community of monks that practice Karma Kagyu lineage - The original building was first built by 9th Karmapa in 16th century - It was later reconstructed by the 16th Karmapa and inaugurated in 1966 - The sacred items and relics were brought from Tsurphu, Karmapa's seat in Tibet, and installed here - A Golden Stupa contains the relics of the 16th Karmapa - Opposite that building is a college for Higher Buddhist Studies - Next to Institute of Tibetology which has a collection of rare Buddhist manuscripts and artifacts from Tibet, Dodrul Chorten, Tsuklakhang (Royal Chapel) & Enchey Monastery - One can also visit Institute of Tibetology - This internationally acclaimed center of Tibetan Studies & Research houses a vast collection of rare Buddhist books, manuscripts and Buddhist icons - Evening free to stroll to M.G. Marg or Local Market - Night stay at Gangtok

 

Day - 04 – Excursion to Changu / Tsomgo Lake & Bba Mandir - Nathu La (Optional)- Early morning breakfast – Permits are made one day prior to visit - This is nearly 48 kilometers drive and takes nearly 2 hours - Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake and Baba Mandir, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty – Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lake of the region - A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place - Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen – (Nathu La Pass visit has to be arranged the previous Night when Voters ID card will be asked for – Nathu La Pass once booked the amount is not refunded even if the trip get cancelled - Nathula Pass supplement of INR 2500 - INR 4000/- has to be paid on the spot as it is not included in the final costing) - Back to hotel for lunch or lunch on the way – The rest of the day is free - Evening one is free to stroll around M G Road or the Local Market - Over night stay at Gangtok

 

Day - 05 - Transfer to Darjeeling (Via Namchi is Optional) - Early Morning breakfast - Next the driver will assist you for the forwarding journey to Darjeeling (!25 kilometers 2 ½ - 3 hours) – One can visit Namchi Char Dham a brilliant venue in Namchi (Sikkim) - Forward Journey to Darjeeling - At an elevation of 2123 meters / 70001 feet, the land of breathtaking beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas popularly known as the Queen of the hills - Jewel in the crown of the Eastern Himalayas with mesmerizing beauty offers spectacular views of the Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga and the rest of spectacular Himalayan range - Check in to hotel – Stroll to Mall / shrubbery Park - Over night stay at hotel in Darjeeling

 

Day - 06 - Darjeeling Sightseeing - Early in the morning excursion to Tiger Hill - On the way back visit Yiga Choling Monastery at Ghoom - The monastery houses the statue of Maitrya Buddha - Next visit Padmaja Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Tibetan Welfare Centre - Evening free to visit the Chowrasta Mall - Mount Kanchanjunga sparks brilliantly as the first rays of sun - Yiga Choling Monastery (Ghoom Monastery) is located in Ghoom near Darjeeling town - The Yiga-Choeling monastery belongs to the yellow Sect of Buddhists who worships a 15 feet statue of the Maitreya, built in 1875 by Lama Sherab Gyamtso - Tibetan Welfare Centre - The Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre was started on October 2, 1959, following the escape of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, thousands of Tibetans fled into the neighboring countries 0 Evening free to stroll around Chowrastaor the Mall Road - Over night stay at hotel in Darjeeling

 

Day - 07 - Departure to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) via Mirik - Drive to Siliguri, on the way to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) (130 kilometers, 3 ½ - 4 hours) - Morning breakfast - After breakfast drive via Nepal border to Mirik – It’s a two hours drive - Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling noted for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate – Halt at Seemana for view and boating in the lake are some of the activities - On the way visit Pashupati Market in Nepal - Mirik is noted for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate makes the place suitable for Tea Plantation – Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) via Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey
