Day - 01 - Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) and Transfer to Kalimpong - Check in Hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area – Visit to the local market and nursery is recommended - Night Stay at Nest

Day - 02 -  Paragliding and Local Sightseeing - Early morning breakfast - Next drive to Deollo for Paragliding – This will be a life time experience for the newcomer – Safety and security assured - Paragliding at Deollo / Dello – Half day Local Sightseeing at Kalimpong Town or nearby and visit to local Market  - Night stay at Nest

Day - 03 – Transfer to Pedong and Rock Climbing - Mountain Biking – Archery -  Drive to Pedong - Check in to Hotel Silk Route Retreat – Prepare for various activities as per the Itinerary booked - Rock Climbing - Mountain Biking - Archery  - Evening free to stroll around the area - Night stay at Silk route Retreat

Day - 04 -  Departure to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) -  Check out of Hotel - Drive Down to Teesta River - Angling or Rafting or both as per the time one can spend - Transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) /  Nearby Destination

Take care: Always wear a helmet / other safety equipments whenever asked for. Ride / Drive / Walk within your capabilities and skills and allow plenty of time for your ride / walk. Before leaving ensure your cycle / bike is safe by checking tyres, brakes and gears. Tell someone where you are going and what time you intend to return. Take the appropriate map, compass, basic first aid kit, food and money.

Tools: Try to carry a basic tool kit; a cycling specific multi-tool is best, but if not you will need 4 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm Allen keys, small flat head and set of screwdrivers. Must are a pump, tyre levers, puncture repair kit and some spare inner tubes - it is easier to replace a tube than to fix a puncture – Torch – Battery Chargers

Clothing: Make sure you are prepared for all weather conditions by wearing several layers of clothing that can be adjusted. Take a lightweight waterproof jacket, even in fine weather. Padded cycling shorts are a must and can be worn under leggings in cold conditions.

  • Keep away from Forestry operations
  • Avoid back wheel skids which can start erosion

  • Slow down when approaching and travelling through farmyards
